BATTLEROAR Announces New Guitarist

September 27, 2010

Greek epic metallers BATTLEROAR have announced the addition of guitarist Antreas Sotiropoulos (EVERDOME, WOLFCRY) to the group's ranks. The band states, "The new lineup is already working out really well and everybody is pleased and excited."

BATTLEROAR last year parted ways with singer Marco Concoreggi due to "personal reasons" and replaced him with John Papanikolaou. Papanikolaou has since left the group. A replacement vocalist has not yet been announced.

BATTLEROAR's third album, "To Death and Beyond", was released in April 2008 via Cruz Del Sur. The CD was produced by John Boulamakis and features artwork by Greek comic artist John Rubulias ("Conan" Greek edition). A limited digipak edition, featuring a bonus track and an exclusive embroidered patch, was also released.

The group was previously signed to the now-defunct Black Lotus label, which released BATTLEROAR's second album, "Age of Chaos".
